I ordered these lights about a month ago, it took a while for them to arrive. But the whole time the support at noo-pysche was very responsive and gave me a discount based on a promotion they were running after my order had been placed. Once I got the lights installed my corals looked fantastic. I was running an older set of kessils. These lights put out more par and give the corals amazing colors. Connecting to them was pretty straightforward, but I wish you could keep the lights off when adjusting the parameters. Overall setup was pretty simple.
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
For the money it is a great light. On the surface I measured over 1200par. Didn't had too much time to look more inside it but I would have some things to make on it for the next model. The placing of the 400nm led need to be placed in the middle, both are placed inward and all the 400nm light comes in the middle 15cm of the light. Could try a wider lens too or the plastic cover is too high. Thank the blue channel peaks at 464nm I would suggest something more on the 470 above side or 464+480 leds. The other thing is that the controll of the power with shallow lps tank like mine I run the uv rb and b only 19/20/20% I don't tested more now but from 19% to 20% there is a double in par from 70 to 140 so better use some some measuring device when dialing in these light they are realy powerfull. Just ordered a second one I try the make some vids.
I have been using 10 K7 V3s over 2 tanks. I just replaced 4 of them that are the old ones that use a remote for programming with 4 more app controlled ones. The old ones when dusted off look brand new and the diodes are perfect. They are going over the refugium and kept for other projects. Why would you pay any more for a light or pay the same for a light with less features. I think these are the best choice out there.
Very nice and sleek light. This thing is very powerful. On my 25gal tank I was able to get ideal PAR reading at only 35% power. 100par on sand bed and 300par on the top. Really easy to set up and shipped to me in like week. Really happy with it. Great and color spectrum.
I was very skeptical ordering these lights due to the low price. So far I am very pleased with the K7 Pro 3! I would suggest using the K7 Profile Generator found online to program the lights. After about 3 weeks, my corals have great color growth. Be careful setting the white channel, I made the mistake of programming it too strong resulting in bleaching of a few corals. Setup was very easy and programable from the app on my phone.
I will purchase these lights again for another project I have coming up soon.
